For the record, I have been a Michael Jackson fan since the age of four and his music always made me feel better whenever I had a bad day. I remember when I was a kid I would have dreams of meeting him and seeing him perform in concert. Even as I grew older that dream never went away.
I was excited when he announced several month ago that he's going on tour again. Here was my chance to buy the tickets and actually go to a Michael Jackson concert. But unfortunately, that dream shattered when I got the phone call from my sister on Thursday June 25th saying that he died. At first I was like "no this must be a joke" Then I turned on the news and they confirmed that he died. One of the most depressing days of my life. I never knew him,but his sudden death struck me to the heart as well as my family. It always been my attention to create a Michael Jackson Lion and I have in the past but I never posted the pictures online mainly because they were old(meaning 8 years ago) and the quality wasn't good. I created this pic of the Michael Jackson Lion as a tribute to the King of Pop. And you might ask why I added the Pespi can. Well because Michael Jackson was a sponsor for the Pepsi commercials in the 80s to the early 90s. ~Michael Jackson will always be the King of Pop and no one can never take that title away from him. |
